The Huawei U7510 is a relatively new entrant into the mobile phone market having been released only in November 2009. With touch screen technology and many features inherently included within the handset this phone provides an excellent level of technology within the budget of many consumers. The handset is 108 mm x 56 mm wide and is 13 mm thick, it is only 56 g in weight which makes it one of the lightest phones available.
The handset comes with a 2.8 inch TFT touch screen which encompasses the main front face of the handset. It is able to display 65,000 colours at a pixel screen size of 240 x 320 pixels. This means images are displayed in large format and with excellent clarity and vivid colour. The handset comes with vibration and MP3 ring alert options as well as a speakerphone for hands-free communication.
The phone comes with 100 MB of internal memory which can be significantly expanded upon by utilising the microSD slot. Utilising SD cards the memory can be expanded up to 8 GB. For entertainment purposes the handset provides an MP3/MP4 player and stereo FM radio with RDS. This enables the owner of the handset to download and play a variety of audio and video file formats or alternatively listen to regional or national broadcasts from radio stations.
Connectivity is provided by the GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA, Blue tooth and USB connections. This multitude of connectivity ensures the handset can be connected to a multitude of devices and systems as well as the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks seamlessly and efficiently.
The phone comes with a 2 mega pixel camera which operates at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Images taken with this camera are good enough quality to be displayed on the display screen however may appear grainy when printed out. In addition to the static imagery the camera also provides the ability to record and playback video.
Although the Huawei U7510 is a new entrant into the mobile phone market, it provides a veritable feast of functionality as well as touch screen technology at an affordable price.
