Impressive Technology Enhances the Sony Ericsson Aino

The Sony Ericsson Aino is a phone which comes with a plethora of functionality. In some respects the level of technology included within this handset is hard to believe. It packs an amazing amount of features within a compact casing. In fact the handset measures 104 mm x 50 mm wide and is only 15 mm thick.

A 3 inch TFT capacitive touch screen is one of the integral elements of this handset. It offers stunning imagery by virtue of its ability to display up to 16 million colours and experience within a pixel screen size of 240 x 432 pixels. With limited touch screen functionality this handset provides effective functionality in a simple and user-friendly manner. An accelerometer sensor provides the means to auto rotate imagery dependent upon the orientation of the camera. The handset also provides a variety of alert types included within the package as well as the ability to download polyphonic, MP3 and AAC ringtones. A speakerphone which comes with stereo speakers is also provided.

The phone comes with an internal memory of 55 MB, however most packages include an 8 GB card which can be utilised within the microSD slot. In fact the slot can be utilised to expand the memory up to 32 GB if required. Entertainment is provided by an MP3/MP4 player and a stereo FM radio. For those who prefer the medium of video, the camera also doubles up as a video capture device and will record at VGA quality and at 30 frames per second and also comes with the additional feature of a video stabiliser. Video calling, a popular feature with many, is also available on this handset
