Listen Up

Listen to her. Read what she is texting you. There's nothing sexier than a guy who actually listens to a girl. Most guys get so caught up with what they plan to say to a girl. Or even how great she is. We get distracted and we forget to listen to what she's actually saying. I know that feeling. It happens to me all the time. Sometimes I feel like I need a dose of Addrerall before I listen to my girlfriend's conversations. It's almost like she keeps blabbing on and on about nothing. But if you try really, really hard, you'll find that she's actually saying something. She's usually talking about her problems or some gossip she heard about someone. Try to keep up. Even if the topic is boring. Even if you're not into drama. Fake it till you make it. Just don't let her know you're not that interested. Make sure she knows you care. Using emotional works like "CRAZY" or "UNBELIEVABLE" is a good way to show that you care about she's saying. Console her when she's feeling down. That's what separates an acquaintance from a friend and a friend from a boyfriend. The fact that you care. But you have to keep it sexy. Tell her you wish you were there to give her a "hug". A few years ago, I used to date an artist. I actually didn't know she had a hidden desire and talent to draw super heroes. She's been doing it since she was 9 years old. I found out when I texted her:

"I have a sneaking suspicion that you're an in-the-closet creative nerd. What secret talent do you possess."

It's not the easiest thing to do, but if you get it right, you're way ahead of the game. Most guys FAIL at this miserably.
